D prosopects take longer, especially smaller ones. I like to compare Morrisey to Duncan Kieth, both similar size and style of play. Kieth played two full seasons in the AHL to adjust to the pro game and playing against men. He is now considered one of the top D in the NHL. It is ok to do the same with Morrisey.

That's an interesting point. It's not that Morrissey can't benefit he just needs to accept that he should and not get down on the situation.

That's one of the best things with the baby Jets being down the hall and not halfway across the continent. The guys that get sent down aren't that far away.

It's all a lot better than Jets 1.0 prospects ever were.
Jimmy Mann, Sergei Bautin, Bobby Dollas, Ryan Stewart, Peter Douris, The Pooley Twins, Deron Quint, Mats Lindgren, Dan Ratushny, Roger Ohman, Murray Eaves.....
